Our Personnel

 

Data Intelligence Consultants is comprised of personnel with a wealth of research expertise and computer capabilities. The combined capabilities of the staff make it possible for the company to deliver the highest levels of outcomes research. In addition to the personnel identified, the group maintains relationships with highly skilled individuals and academic institutions throughout the world.

 

Angeline M. Carlson, B.S., R.Ph., Ph.D.

is a health services researcher with expertise in the use of claims data as a research tool. Dr. Carlson's experiences include serving as the Associate Director of research at a noted pharmacy benefits management company and as a research scientist with a nationally based managed care organization. In addition to the presentation of research results at national and international meetings, Dr. Carlson has authored numerous articles related to aspects of health service delivery in the managed care environment.

Glenn J. Trygstad, B.S.

is a senior systems analyst with expertise in data analysis, data integration and data architecture. Mr. Trygstad has gained extensive experience in integrating administrative and claims data from medical and pharmacy claims processors for use in outcomes research. His work experience includes programming for research units in a national benefits management company and a large nationally based managed care organization. Mr. Trygstad's prior experience includes market research and actuarial systems development and analysis.

Robert J. Carlson, B.A., B.S., R.Ph.

is a registered pharmacist with 21 years of experience in the community pharmacy setting. His professional experience includes pharmacy patient care processes in both private and national chain operations. Mr. Carlson has in-depth working knowledge of the pharmacy claims submission process and formulary control of drug benefits. He provides specialized data support for drug therapy analyses.

            Stanley E. Williams, B.A., MHA, Ph.D.

is a health services researcher with expertise in clinical trials, particularly cancer related studies. Dr. Williams serves as a clinical instructor and researcher in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota. He previously served as the director of the Data Coordinating Center for the Program on the Surgical Control of the Hyperlipidemias (POSCH) at the University of Minnesota. His research  interests include medical organization theory and its impact on health care delivery.
